Studio Max Records, based in Jamaica and Atlanta, Georgia, managed and operated by Hugh Campbell, is a pace setter for scouting artist and providing good music. For over 25 years, Studio Max Records has created numerous hits, producing and arranging songs for its core audience first, while being creative but unpredictable always a surprise to the music industry at large. Additionally, with the international success of artists such as Judith Gayle, Keesa Peart, Terry Linen, George Gordon, Claudelle Clarke, to name a few; Studio Max Records has expanded its services not only in the recorded studio, but also providing high quality Live HD audio system and backing band (MP Band), professional live streaming and multi track recordings for events or podcast, such as Vibe VSessions, Site Picture,  Atlanta Bless, 1Vision1Sound Auditions, PICA workshop in Atlanta, just to name a few.

It all began over 25 years ago when the pioneer gospel group The Ambassadors asked Hugh to be their keyboard player.  That became the utmost challenge but during that exposure he began to excel in the music industry, being very active in the JCDC Song competitions for both schools and public entries.  He became known to all as the music man in his community May Pen, Clarendon, also the call to guy for church concerts, weddings, funerals, you name it……  Years gone by, now Hugh furthering his studies at CAST (UTEC) in Kingston. Jamaica, he began to play for large acts like The Grace Thrillers, Sandra Brooks, Cable and Wireless Band, Mellow Groove Band, just to name a few.  After leaving college he saw the need for a recorded studio in May Pen hence Studio Max Records.  The record label worked with numerous artist that became great such as Isabelle Blagroove, Reggae Rogers, Silver Cat, Keesa Peart, Terry Linen, Judith Gayle, Clarendon College Choir, just to name a few. The success of the recording studio became a land mark for the community, where opportunities, hopes and dreams were met.  Hugh decides to take Studio Max Records to the next level by getting himself professionally trained and certified as an audio engineer at the SAE Institute in Miami Florida.  In Florida he launched his Record Label once more completing albums for Carlington Roberts, Claudelle Clarke, just to name a few.  It is a tremendous ride for Hugh mastering the techniques and avenues of music.  The training and exposure has gain him the ability to not only master the art of sound engineering in a recording studio, but acquired the skills how to install and setup sound equipment at various entities/churches. Hugh was then able to further offer services as a field sound engineer along side several Video production teams such as VSession (Quincy Jones event with July Dexter, Soldier Boy etc..) Site Picture (gun tournaments), Steve Harvey Neighborhood Awards Red Carpet in Atlanta (Back stage pass – audio support) and The Wayne Hall Show just to name a few. 

Hugh Campbell continues to grow his brand in the Atlanta Caribbean diaspora as an expert in audio engineering for gospel concerts, providing services such as live audio sound system, voice overs, multi media services, live streaming, back-line and backing band, etc.  Hugh Campbell goes under these reputable companies and services in his community as Max Productions, Off Stage Pass, Reggae Covers (Youtube Channel), Mellow Groove Band and MP Band.

Studio Max Records continues to be a die-hearted International/Caribbean production studio company that provides high quality professional services in sound audio engineering for both Live Experience and in-Studio Productions.  Hugh thank God for his talent everyday and will always keep making tremendous stripes in the music industry behind the scenes giving back to the community His emotions, creativity and pure love for the music.
